I'd like to tell you a story...more like my journey...(it may even sound similar to yours...read on and you'll see what I'm talking about)
I had recently graduated high school and I got a summer internship with a professional photographer. The moment I picked up the camera and took my first shot it was instant. I was in love. I loved every aspect of photography because, to me, it was art.
Little did I know that internship would put me on a path that would change my life.
So...I went to college, met my sweetheart...fell in love...and got married. Unfortunately for me...he was a super senior and I was a freshman....I know! I know! Don't judge :)...and I had to leave college to move across the country to Washington D.C. for his job.
While there, I applied and was accepted to the Washington DC School of Photography and gained a formal photography education from some of the nation's top photographers.
Here is where the story get's interesting.
My husband, due to some unfortunate events that I will spare you, was in and out of work. He turned to entrepreneurship. As we were transitioning, we didn't have any money. I was able to use my photography to help out our family....But it wasn't enough.
I was killing myself.
Going to bed late...3 am
Waking up early....(I swear kids have an alarm clock in their stomach)
Editing tons of photos.
...For ungrateful clients...
That complained about paying for the work.
The shoot and burn model...was...well...burning me out.
I knew something had to change.
There had to be a better way.
So I embarked on a journey to crack the code.
